When did you have your stroke? November 17th, 2020. Then the stroke was on the right side of your brain. So your left side is mostly affected. Your left arm, hand, your leg, your foot. Yeah. Kind of my fingers will feel kind of stiff, brain fog, and just, you know, focusing. She’s got a little bit of blind spot with her left on the left. Yeah, we saw that in your drawings. We’ll take a look at those a little bit later and see if they change.
Wow. The Yeah. Everything’s offkilter.
Wow. It’s That is a big difference.
[laughter] I forgot her eyebrow on that side. I Everything just feels better overall. I just I feel more normal. I feel more alive. I just feel kind of like I did before the stroke. Well, that’s what we were all hoping, you know? I mean, that makes me happy.
But her walking, her stride looks better. It does. It’s definitely different. I would say it’s better. Definitely. Just overall though, I can tell the difference. So, here’s this improvement in in left neglect that we see in the trail making test. We can see that before PSC, Lou had trouble going from 12 to 13 because she had trouble with left visual perception. and that one week after PSSE, visual perception to the left had significantly improved. Now, we also saw a similar improvement in your clock drawing test. So, part of the clock on the left is missing because your visual perception, you just didn’t see it. And today, here you are. Big improvement. The left side of the clock reemerges. So tell us what happened after your injection. [snorts] Less brain fog was probably the number one thing which is was probably the number one thing that I would wanted to get get a handle on. That would be what I noticed first the most. Just kind of more clarity and and all. another friend of ours who I was on the phone with and then he got on the phone with Tom and he said I could hear it in her and Lou’s voice when she was talking with me just he noticed it right away. That felt so good, you know. And then another guy who works with us, he could tell in the text that I sent that everything just seemed more to the point and kind of not so rambling and that was amazing. That’s why I was happy to have the test cuz you know it’s like a fail proof. you can see the results very much more articulate talking um probably even a little faster but today was really brought it home this morning she was telling him about uh a movie she watched last night I heard him say to her like he goes what you just told me about the movie was so far beyond what you were doing before and I I heard it and I went he’s Right. He’s absolutely right. That was cuz I heard what she described. It was detailed. It was completely different. Oh, yeah. Well, and I’m a lover of words. I mean, that’s what I do. My main thing is writing songs. Yes. So, for me, this is just a huge blessing.
I feel like my left leg doesn’t feel as stiff. Well, you can trust it now a little bit more. Yeah, I feel just overall just more stable and balanced. Yeah, more balanced.
Wow. She can never do that.
Like if you drop something, you just bend over. You don’t squat. And it’s easily It’s hard to But you’re able to squat now.
